wowgreen event calendar
The wowgreen event calendar was designed and programmed to meet the specific needs of wowgreen distributors. The function of the calendar is to give you, a wowgreen distributor, a place to post your own events and create awareness with others that your event is taking place
Promoting
The calendar is certainly not a replacement for getting the word out about your event, nor should you rely solely upon the calendar to promote your personal event, or a major event that wowgreen is conducting. Nothing will ever replace the effectiveness of you calling and promoting these events directly to your down-line and prospects. wowgreen University has created different features in the calendar to help you do this.
You can send online invitations and even print out invitations so you can physically hand them to members of your team. This promotion outside of the realm of the internet cannot be stressed enough. In a nutshell, you should act as if no one else is promoting the events and it is up to you to pack the house. With this mentality, the events will have many attendees and make for an exciting event with an unbelievable atmosphere for everyone to participate in.
Calendar Home Page
The wowgreen event calendar is accessible from every page of the wowgreenuniversity.net website. If you look at the top navigation, you will see a button labeled “Events”. Clicking on this button will bring you to the home page of the wowgreen event calendar. From the Calendar Home Page, you can view events that others have posted in the calendar by clicking on the “View All Events” button. You can also post your own event to the calendar by clicking on the “Post Event” button (we’ll go into the details of posting an event shortly).
You can also use the “My Events” button to easily locate live events that you have personally posted. The last button on the wgU Calendar Homepage is the “My Events” button, which…if clicked…takes you to a list of events that you have personally posted on the calendar. We’ll go into this feature in a little more depth later on as well. The last button on the calendar home page is the “Event Finder” feature. This can help you locate an event in a specific geographical area.
More on this to come.

Clicking the” Evite button” on the details page allows you to send an electronic invitation via email to multiple people.
Note: You will be asked to login to your wowgreen university account to send this invitation. The system will send the invitation from the email address you have in your wowgreen University profile. If you do not have an account at wowgreen University, you can easily create one!
Event Finder
Clicking on the “Event Finder” button from any of the locations brings us to the Event Finder homepage. The Event Finder was created to help you find the event that you are looking for by providing the system with specific search criteria.
Event Finder – Selecting a Time Frame
Your first step is to select a time frame for your search. You may select any of the “quick pick” options, utilize the mini calendar to click on a specific day or week, or enter a custom date range to look for events.
Event Finder – I’m looking for…
Once you have selected a time frame for the Event Finder to search within, your next step is to let the Event Finder know what it is you are looking for.
 |
Four main options:
- Location
- Event
- Speaker
- Rank
|
Clicking each button will take us to a different location to help us narrow our search. We’ll take a look at each of the options in detail now.
Event Finder: Search by Location
We’ve told the Event Finder the time frame in which we are searching and we are now going to select the “Location” option to narrow our search. Clicking the “Location” button will bring us into the details the Event Finder will require to help us narrow our search.
Doing so will open a page where you can enter your city and state, or enter a valid zip code (Select a country from the dropdown first, then enter in a zip code). You can then select the distance in miles from the location you entered you would like the Event Finder to include in your search. The Event Finder will then display the events it found based on the criteria you entered. If an event was not located, you can create a new search and increase the time frame and/or distance from your selected location.
Event Finder: Event Type
Let’s take a look and see how to use the Event Finder to find an event based on a specific type of event that we are looking for. Once we have specified the time frame the event is occurring, clicking on the “Event” button will bring us to the next step in the wizard to help narrow our search. On this page, you will see different event types listed: anything from Conference Calls to Training events. Once you make a selection, the Event Finder searches all events that are posted and returns with only the type that you selected…in the time frame you selected.
Event Finder: Speaker
The Event Finder can also help us locate a specific speaker. We’ve told the Event Finder we are looking for events that occur in a specific time frame, so now we’ll select the “Speaker” option. On the next page, you can enter in the speaker name. NOTE: Misspellings will not work correctly! Please be sure to double check the spelling of the speaker’s name. The page that follows will display all the events in which the name you entered is associated with.
Event Finder: Rank
If we are looking for events that have speakers that are of a certain rank or higher, we can select the “Rank Option” after we have told the Event Finder the time frame in which to include the results. Clicking the Rank button brings up a page that allows us to select the speaker rank. Select the desired rank and continue to view all events that include a speaker of the selected rank or higher.
Posting an Event
The wowgreen Event Calendar was created to allow you, the wowgreen distributor, to post your own wowgreen events. This includes home parties, trainings, socials and opportunity meetings.
Clicking on any of the “Post Event” buttons located in various locations on the calendar will bring you to the event posting page.
Logging In
Please note that you must be logged into the wowgreen University system to post an event. If you do not have an account yet, you can quickly set one up for free.
